Full-Time Cabinet Builder
Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Cabinet Builder to join our team. We build high-quality custom cabinetry for new homes and remodels and are looking for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn and grow within the woodworking industry.
This position works in our production shop and plays an important role in building high-quality custom cabinetry and specialty products that meet Westwind Woodworkers’ standards.
Responsibilities
- Build custom cabinets with accuracy and efficiency
- Assemble cabinet boxes, frames, drawer boxes, doors, and drawer fronts
- Cut and process parts according to specifications
- Glue, sand, edge band, and prepare materials for assembly
- Assist with hanging doors and setting drawers as needed
- Operate hand and power tools safely and accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with basic maintenance and care of shop machinery
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Woodworking, cabinetry, carpentry, or construction experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately and follow parts lists and shop instructions
- Proficiency using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Dependable, punctual and team-oriented
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-25.00 per hour, depending on experience
Expected Hours: 40-45 per week
Schedule: Monday through Thursday 6:30am-4:30pm, Fridays 6:30am-12:00pm
