From 6 years old Joe Harren was always drawn to Papa Joe’s woodshop.
This fascination inspired Joe’s passion for woodworking. During high
school he enrolled in every industrial arts class offered at Rocori high.
After high school Joe went on to the carpentry program at St. Cloud Technical
College. This training and passion for woodworking launched his career with
a job at Reisinger Cabinets cutting parts and sweeping floors.
In April of 1991, Reisinger Cabinets changed hands and came to be known
as “Stewart Cabinets”. As general manager and the lead designer,
Joe was able to contribute his ideas to the company.
On May 1, 2006, Joe’s 24th anniversary of employment, he and his wife
Ann purchased Stewart Cabinets and changed the name to Westwind Woodworkers.
Joe and Ann are lifelong residents of Central Minnesota and share a mutual
admiration for architecture and design. In addition to Joe’s experience
in custom woodworking, Ann’s fondness for architectural design has
inspired her to design homes for the past 20 years. Their goal is to make
your home aesthetically pleasing as well as functional to live in.
The staff of Westwind Woodworkers is comprised of experienced woodworkers,
finishers, and installers who take pride in everything they do. You can
